Okay well, I have no idea if it’s gonna work out. NO, I’m not gonna shut down this blog. I’m just gonna see if I can bring it back to life. So of course, the first thing I had to do was change my blog layout. I was getting really sick of my old one. As much as I loved it, I think it time for some change. I’m still very iffy though, so I might still experiment with it.
The next step is gonna have to be working on a new banner. It’s gonna be pretty tough considering how little space I have to work with this new layout. Then I guess I’ll just have to think of new ideas for blog posts.
Erm, yeah.

Oh guys~
How has it been ever since I actually posted something on this blog? It’s been so long….
Life has really gotten in the way. Theres my homework, my council work, Interact club, violin, violin, and even more violin, along with choir. So I apologize so much for pretty much keeping this blog.
I know that this is going to sound half assed, but I shall see what I can do with this blog. After listening to Angela Aki again, I have felt inspired to just do more and more blog posts. Hopefully, I’ll get something up eventually.~
Thanks guys.

What the frick is wrong with me?
I keep saying I’m gonna bring the blog back up, but school, laziness, and all this other stuff is really distracting me from this place.
So erm, short review.
Boa’s US Album ROCKS.
It’s been on repeat for me all this time.

My Sexy New Laptop
You know guys, my blog is pretty much dead now.
D:
Really sorry. For some reason, ever since the start of this year (or maybe around that), I suddenly lost all my inspiration to make fun blog posts or even reviews on music. I’ve gotten just so LAZY that I can’t get myself to start writing anything.
So that is why I’m going to MAKE myself try to write up something.
…
So why not make a little blog post on my totally new awesome new laptop?
=D
________________________________________________________________
So here’s my old Tyrannosaurs Rex:

A Dell Inspirion 600m
I have had it ever since the 6TH GRADE. Which means I have now had it for about 6 DAMN YEARS.
It worked AMAZINGLY when I first had it. It ran perfectly fine. Very quick, fast, responsive, and the screen was enough to satisfy me. However, over the years, the thing just started to crappier, and crappier, and even more crappier when you thought it wouldn’t end.
For one thing, it just gave me a countless amount of technical issues. I have no idea, but for some reason, this laptop may be the main reason why I have had headaches those past 6 years. Heck, there was even this one time where it’s hard drive actually CRASHED when I downloaded Ragnarok Online and I had to get a new one.
Also, if you take a look at the picture, it looks rather nice. However, that’s not how it is now. My 600m is damaged everywhere. I don’t have an F5 button, my arrow keys are hard to work with, there’s a whole bunch of markings on the outside thanks to my brothers.
In addition to that, I don’t know what happened, but the computer just slower, slower, and SLOWER. It got so bad, it got to the point where it took almost 7 minutes or so for me to turn it on, and log into my account. I have no idea why, but I couldn’t STAND it.
In fact, I couldn’t even play most video games on it because the game just started to slow down after an hour or less of playing (which explains why I stuck to RO, but that may be the only good thing about this damn thing).
Oh, and you know what, there are actually 2 physical damages that made me realize I REALLY needed a new laptop. For one thing, I don’t know if it was the doing my sister (I highly suspect it is), or if it was just an accident. But anyways, my laptop screen was SCREWED UP. It was broken, so that I had to keep it up against a wall or else the entire screen would fall off, and lord knows what I would have done if that happened. This really reduced the whole point of having a laptop.
In addition to that damage, possibly the worst damage happened to my battery. For some reason, my laptops battery refused to charge at all. I don’t know why. But I always had to keep it connected to my charger or else it would shut done. This really made things harder on me since I couldn’t disconnect my laptop from my charger to print things out.
And that was the last straw
I had a conversation with my mom about how much I hated my old laptop, so she told me that I actually could get a new one! However, I had to use up all the money I had in order to help pay for it, in addition to having a budget of under a $1000. Now, as much as I wanted an electric violin, I realize that I really needed a new laptop since it was almost the new school year, and of course, I wanted to play some video games. So of course, I accepted the offer.
And now, look at my beautiful new shining laptop:

A Dell Studio 17
Yes, I know. At first, I was all “I don’t want a Dell anymore!” Especially after the issues I had with my old one. However, you know what, SCREW ALL YOU DELL HATERS. Because god damn, this is one AMAZING Dell Laptop especially at it’s price of around $1000. ($950 after rebate!) In fact, it’s so amazing, that I’m actually going to do a REVIEW on it. Hey, it’s my blog, and I can do whatever the hell I want! So lets begin shall we?
Appearance:
So after having an extremely dull and boring laptop for 6 years, I really wanted something edgier and sexier. I’ll admit, I really liked the designs of some other laptops, but I absolutely love the style of the dell studio 17. It’s sleek, sharp, simple, and sexy. And when you touch it, it’s really nice and smooth (plus shiny!), so it really feel likes something very high tech, instead of feeling like cheap plastic like with my old laptop. There are actually a few different colors to choose from. I really wanted to get a different color, but black is all they had. But hey, it’s still sleek and sexy.
Screen:
OH MY FREAKIN DEAR LORD. The screen is one of THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN ON A LAPTOP THIS PRICE. After having such an icky small screen, I really wanted one giganto one, giganto and beautiful enough to play my video games and really get into it. And holy crap did I get it. The Dell Studio 17 has a beautiful 17 Inch screen with a resolution of up to who knows when. It’s PERFECT. When I played my games for the first time on my new laptop, I couldn’t help but drool at how beautiful and BIG it was! Total win.
Mousepad and Keyboard:
Now, this one I really don’t make such a big deal about. When it comes to the keyboard, I really like the feel of them. There’s more of an “edge” and comfort them. I really can’t explain it, but I just really like it. For some reason though, sometimes when I type, annoying random things happen like me creating page breaks or stuff like that, but it may be pressing the CTRL button instead of the SHIFT button. Oh yeah, and did I mention that theres a number pad too? I really don’t use it too much, but it makes typing numbers a lot easier.
However, I’m not a huge fan of the mouse pad. I really don’t like it is on the left side. It looks more like they built a regular keyboard with the mouse pad right in the middle, then added a number pad on the right side and didn’t move the mouse pad right into the middle. Plus, the mouse pad is too awkward for me to use, and insists on doing weird things when I use it. Luckily, I barely use it, and stick to using my mouse.
Speakers:
Oh DEAR LORD. This may the only part where my old laptop actually did BETTER when compared to the Dell Studio 17. Oh dear lord. Yes, the speakers do get loud. However, I don’t know if it’s just me, but they’re HORRIBLE. They have this horrible scratchy-ness and unpleasant sound to it. I cannot STAND listening to a lot of my music with “regular” instruments like a piano or guitar, as it just gets so DISTORTED AND SCRATCHY, that my eyes just start to bleed really badly. DXXXXXXXXXX
I mean WTF Dell? You really screwed up on this one. The only time this scratchy ness actually sounds good is when I’m listening to techno music (MEG, Perfume, etc), as it adds bit of an extra cool “distortion” to it. Aside from that, DAMN, these speakers SUCK big time.
Speed and Graphics:
And this is one of the main reasons why I really wanted a new laptop. I didn’t want to wait FOREVER just for my laptop to turn on. Luckily with the Dell Studio 17’s Intel Core 2 Duo (at around 2.5 Ghz), in addition to the GODLY 6GB of memory, that is never going to be a problem for quite a while. Starting up the computer is amazingly quick, and thanks to the godly amount of memory and processor speed, I can easily run Firefox, Word, iTunes, GIMP, and Ragnarok Online without any slowdown. I really don’t have any computer intense programs at the moment, but I’m pretty happy with what it can do now.
When it comes to graphics, I really can’t make a good judgement on that. I tend to play games that aren’t on the cutting edge of technology (Ragnarok Online anyone). But hey, I have heard that it can handle some of those big games like DOOM and whatnot. In addition, I never have to worry about having my MMOs slowing down due to my computer. The only time I will ever have to worry about that would be because it was the games fault.
Ports:
Now, with my previous laptop, pretty much most of the USB ports and whatnot where in the back, which I HATED. It was always guessing game trying to figure out where to insert my jump drive or charger. But now, since all the ports are on the side, everything is
LOADS easier to do and I never have to really worry about squishing something since I can easily see it.
Heating:
My old laptop was HOT. And not in a good way. I have possibly the HOTTEST room in the entire house, so having a laptop that heated up so badly, in addition to being such a hot environment was very scary for me. It was also uncomfy, and way too hot to actually use as a “laptop”. However, the Dell Studio 17 definitely manages heat WAY better. It’s never been extremely hot, just slightly warm. I’m also guessing it’s thanks to the efficient Core 2 Duo, and the nice little “elevation” it gets in the back, so that the laptop isn’t completely flat on the surface. There’s a little elevation there so that air can flow through
Extras:
Hey, guess what? My new laptop also has a WEBCAM on it! YAY! The quality is HORRIBLE, and so is the mic for it, but it’s still a cute little bonus to have, and I’m sure it will be fun with my friends when I do eventually get to use it as one.
Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy with my brand new Dell Studio 17 Laptop. Aside from the horrendous speakers, this new laptop totally OWNS in every way compared to my old crappy 600m. Sure, I’m sure there are better laptops out there with better systems, cards, and all that stuff, but at the price of $1000, this is an AMAZING laptop that totally owns! BUY IT if you’re in a budget like mines!
You won’t regret it!

I needed to make a video badly, so I talked about cheeses.
Heeeey guys.
I know I haven’t made a post in a REALLY LONG time, but I’ve been really busy with stuff, and of course, I’ve been lazy and uninspired.
However, I just wanted to make a little announcement.
You guys remember my whole Stereo Loves Next Top Model?
Kay, well, since it’s dead, I think I’m just gonna try and make a little intro out of it, just like with ANTM:
Yes, I am OBSESSED with ANTM.
However, I have no idea how to make these introductions. I’m just gonna try and figure them out. So I won’t guarantee that it will be done for a while, but keep your hopes up!

Kay, so I’m too lazy to really make any kind of post because my school is starting on Monday, so I decided to make a video of with my new haircut.
=D
My regular stylist wasn’t on island, and I HAD to go and find a stylist, so I decided to go to this one filled with Vietnemesse people.
Our stylist did an AMAZING job. However, I hated how unprofessional she was. She actually talked on her phone, texted, and ate crackers while giving our haircuts.
I mean, what the hell? That’s just really screwed up.

Now overall, I have to say this album cover is absolutely GORGEOUS. I have never seen red and white used together in such a gorgeous way. For one thing, that DRESS is to freakin DIE FOR. It’s so big and beautiful, and the way Kanons wearing it so that it’s all spread out like that with her right in the middle is BEAUTIFUL. All the various white ribbons coming from the ceiling, and even some wrapped around her arms just adds to everything, and gives it a festive, yet surprisingly disturbing feel at the same time (choking and murder?). However, the definite topping on this cake is that CELLO. GAHLADKJFl;ksdajlfk;jsal;dfjk;sdjfk;sjlfk. I am so jealous of that white cello Kanon has! I am just so tempted to steal it. A white acoustic cello looks gorgeous, but I think a white acoustic violin would look horrendous. </3
But now, lets move on to what Kanon is actually doing in this picture. For one thing, her face is plain gorgeous in here. I like how she’s opening her eyes so wide like that and coupled with that subtle smile (man, she has some plump lips too!). I’m going to guess that she was trying to go for that “cute but scary” appearance and she pulled it off very well. The big eyes and subtle smile almost resembles what a doll would look like. But the subtle-ness of that smile just shows a hint of a mischievous person. Heck, even her hands are gorgeous. They’re so gentle and graceful, while still having a “doll-like” appearance to it.

You know what, I’m really really sorry guys for not having written this post up and publishing it AGES ago. I don’t know, but suddenly, I just lost my fandom with Kanon Wakeshima due to school, laziness, and my sudden interests in other string groups such as Bond and Escala. But anyways, here’s the post I should have put up a long time ago, just a few months late!
_______
Considering this was the very first album from one of the very few artists who I have actually gotten a chance to listen to them from the very start of their career, I had very high expectations for Shinshoku Dolce. Adding to these very high expectations is how I was overly obsessed with her singles that she released before. Adding to that is the fact that she is an artist who really changed my life by inspiring me to take up the violin and become more involved in music.

The very first few tracks really helped to satisfy my high expectations for the album. Sweet Ticket, is just as the title says. It’s a sweet gorgeous instrumental with Kanon Wakeshima (of course) playing her cello along with marching percussion and a bunch of other things, and it really does feel like a sweet ticket into the rest of the album.
Following is the very first new track on the album called Shinku No Fatarhythm, which still continues to convince me that is the best album I have ever listened to. A unique combination of techno beats, string backings, and gorgeous cello playing, I fell in love with this song. I was also glad to hear that Kanon really improved on her vocals. They weren’t shaky for the most part, and even though it felt rather piercing at times, it still sounded amazing. Her high pitched voice also contrasted well with the deep tone of the cello.
As the alum continues, we are treated a track called Kagami, which is in reality, just a more toned down version of the previous track. However, I loved Shinku No Fatarhythm, so I had no problem with it. Plus, Kanon really explored the range of her cello by actually going into the deep end for the first time, and of course, I gasmed when I heard this.
Following up is actually an album version of still doll. Now, I’m going to be honest here, even though there is a nice new introduction to it, and even though this song is the very reason why I got into violin, and I still get memories of the smell of my new violin and entering the violin shop, I am a tad sick of it. Of course, the song is still amazing, but after 220 plays of the original (which isn’t that different from this version), it
can get a bit tiring, and some of the magic I felt when I listen to it is now kinda lost.
And now, this is where the album gets slightly disappointing for me. Maboroshi is one of the closest I may hear to earlier Capsule doing a collaboration with Kanon. OH WAIT, you know what, I just realized that this whole disappointment was just me being too negative about things, because I just realized that this song rocks too. >.>
As I said before, the whole capsule feel I am talking about is with that little instrument that sounds like elevator music. In fact, this entire piece sounds like elevator music, but GOOD elevator music. Cutesy elevator music combined with extremely cute high pitched vocals from Kanon, a pretty cello solo here and there, and a bunch of other more gentle aspects.
Following is Ennui Kibun!. With the sound of little birds chirping and a water fountain, I was scared that this was gonna be a Morning Musume –esque song. And HOLY CRAP, I am right. However, we all know that Kanon wouldn’t torture us like that. This song is even cuter than Maboroshi, but as we all know, Kanon can’t just be cute. This song sounds like a little murderous psycho homicidal maniac of a girl with a knife. And you know what, I like
that. The song ends with the sound a shower, which makes me feel like she’s showering all the blood from her murder-fest. Lovely.
So now, we all take a break from all these new tracks with a previous single called Suna No Oshiro. Now, considering that I haven’t been listening to this song for too long, it still has not grown old on me. It’s possibly one of Kanons most dramatic and scariest songs to date, and I give credit for her really making it scary by singing as if she is suffocating. YAY for a dying voices!
Continuing the theme of creepy songs, we are treated to Monochrome Frame. Now, I originally felt disappointed at this song, mainly due to the fact that there is no cello solo at all (I’m sorry, but I can’t help but love Kanon and her solos!). Aside from that little thing missing, there is just something so strong about this song. The arrangement isn’t as heavy as other pieces (although the violins playing in the background are GORGEOUS), and the song just kinda feels like it’s staying in the same general area for the entire 4 minutes. However, I think this may be her strongest presentation of her vocals. I can’t explain it, but her vocals just scream POWER here, and I like it for that.
Following up is a song that sounds a lot more like the Kanon I know (by that, I mean cello solos). L’espoir ~魔法の赤い糸~ kinda feels rather “regular” for Kanon Wakeshima, but it does have little quirks. The verses still feel dark and creepy and all that good stuff, but there is an awkward and quirky change when the chorus comes in, which is what helps make this song stick out. In addition, the cello solo is GORGEOUS (when is it not?). Aside from that, it still kinda “blends in” with her other material, but her other material rocks anyway, so its still a rockin song to me.
The next two songs are actually previous singles, just to give us a break before the final tracks. The first is Kuroi Torikago, which was my very first hear at Kanon taking a techno style with her music. Also, it was the very first
time I heard Kanon have a song with the violins having a more involved role in the arrangement, and I’m still not sick of this song!
Skip Turn Skip is also the first track where Kanon isn’t so dramatic and crazy with the cello and stuff. It sounds a lot more “sophisticated” compared to her other tracks, and was the first time I heard her take on a cuter style with her voice. This song however, I don’t find far too amazing when put next to the rest of her material.
Now, we have finally come to the end with the final track called Shiroi Kokoro. For some reason, I can’t help but feel that this song really does feel appropriate as an “ending song”. I’m guessing that it’s just because of more “unique” it is to her other stuff. This is the first time I’ve heard her use the piano in such a unique way, creating an image of snowy day, or the thoughts in someones head, or just something depressing yet uplifting. The piano is definitely the strongest element in this song, along with Kanons vocals, where it sounds like she’s really giving it her all, and while the cello takes a bit of a backseat.
Of course though, it’s not like Kanon to just end it there. The FINAL FINAL track on the album is called Sweet Dreams which is just an orgel version of the intro track Sweet ticket. The name is appropriate, because the orgel does feel more like something to put you sleep. And then getting murdered in your sleep of course.
I swear, you know what? I am COMPLTELEY BI POLAR when it comes to my opinion on albums. I remember listening to this album for the very first time, and feeling extremely disappointed with the album, due to the lack of all the high expectations I had. Reading the review from Selryam didn’t at all. However, I am SO GLAD that I finally got chance to do a full review of this album. It’s helped me realize how just plain awesome this album is. I am a bit annoyed at how all the tracks on the album do sound a bit samey, and I can understand how some people would be disappointed with it. However, considering the fact that I’m completely Bi-polar, indecisive, and very biased towards Kanon, I’m going to say I LOVE this album. Just give the album a try before automatically assuming something like how I do. I’m just hoping however, that she tries something different with her future material. Kanon Wakeshima and an electric guitar anyone?

The Stuff You Listen To:
Holy crap! Mega thanks to Raid for making a post about how this was such an awesome song. After Haru Haru, I didn’t know where to go with Big Bang. Thank God I went to this single though, because just as Raid said, Gara Gara Go! is just plain AWESOME. You all know that by know, I’m a sucker for electronic styled music, and Gara Gara Go really satisfied that desire of mines. Of course, it’s not just Perfume/Capsule techno, it’s actually a light techno feel mixed in with Hip Hop, very similar to the material that you would hear on the radios here in America. The beats are nice and crisp, I just wish that the backbeat was a bit stronger to add to the dance-ability of this song.
Vocally, you all know that I’m a huge sucker for distortions, and here, they have even implemented the (very western) “auto tune” effect, that a bunch of Hip Hop artists here in America use. Now, I suck at telling whether or not someone has vocal talent or not, but whatever. The auto tune effect here adds a nice crispiness to the vocals to add to the crisp music. Heck, I even like the rapping sections!
God, this song is just plain hot.
Following is Top Of The World, no it’s not a cover of that famous song that my mom sings at the karaoke places all the time, it’s their own song (I guess). Now, compared to Gara Gara Go!, it’s not as memorable or as catchy, but you get to hear the guys and their vocal talents (they don’t sound like their killing themselves when they reach the high notes like DBSK!). The arrangement is also a lot more serious compared to the previous song. I also like the little “Top Of the world” repetition, but I wish they worked on their pronounciation. It sounds like they’re saying “Top of the wart”. I’d rather know about any STDs they have may gotten from their wild orgy fests.
Another favorite of mines from Big Bang now is Stylish. For one thing, it’s HOT. The song definitely has more of an Egyptian or belly dancing-ish feel to it, and we all know how sexy that is when combined with the guys and their vocals, especially those gasmic sections right before the chorus with a smooth rhythm and lyrics such as “won’t you follow me?”. SEXY SEXY SEXY.

OMG GUYS, this is like my first post in AGES. So I’m hoping some of you guys read this.

So anyways, I’m sure you guys all know I’m a GIGANTIC FAN of Americas Next Top Model. My obsession with it has gotten to the point where I seriously look at the pictures of music artists and I actually give them critiques, just like the fierce Tyra banks and the Jays.
So I have decided that in order to channel my obsession, and to bring my blog back to life, I am going to start critiquing photos, album covers, and whatever the hell I can find. Sure, I’ve done it before, but I just wanted to make it official.
Hope you guys stay here and still have faith in me.

Just really lazy, unmovtivated, and uninspired.
Really sorry guys about not even logging on in AGES. School was making me so busy that I stopped caring about this place for a bit.
However, SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVER, and i have to much more free time on my hands. I’ll somewhat try and get stuff moving on back here. But now, I’m just busy sleeping a shit load, going to council meetings, and trying to practice my ass off on the violin.
The thing is, it’s really hard to go on the computer or play the violin when it’s so freakin hot. D:
Which is really not helping me with my chances of getting to perform at our schools Welcome Back Assmembly.
But yeah, anyway, that’s it for now.

Now first up, Kashiyuka. I gotta say that from this photo that she has definitely matured a bit when comparing this photo to her when she younger. She has more an older look to her, yet still retaining a bit of the cuteness she has. Pose wise, I do like what she is going with her hands, but at the same time, it seems rather stiff. The hand by her face though does look elegant. When it comes to her face, I like that little cute sassy thing she is doing with her lips. But when you look at her eyes, she just seems a bit awkward, uncomfy, and unsure. I do love the simple dress she is wearing though.
something different. I am bit disappointed they made her wear her typical style of clothing which are shorts, but at least here, it doesn’t look like shorts at all. Still, her clothes make her look rather old. Aside from that though, Nocchi does have the strongest face of all compared to the other girls. I mean, it’s beautiful! The way the light catches her eyes to make it look all shiny and glowy like that is amazing. And just the power she gives in her eyes, I love it.
dore that little trail on the back of her that just flows gracefully. When it comes to her pose, she is also the 2nd strongest. I love the little “flick” thing she is doing with her legs. Plus, that beautiful hand on the triangle just made it for me. I am a bit disappointed though, at how she didn’t show her other arm, so it looks like she has only 1 arm, and that her hair covered her neck. Plus her face..of course it’s pretty, but her lips look so awkward here, and she looks dead in the eyes.
